Luke 13:20-21 = "He also asked, 'What else is the Kingdom of God like? It is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough."
The thing I love about this illustration more than anything else is the fact that God should represent the yeast in our lives and permeate every part of our lives. If we are truly committed to following and serving Christ He should have dominion over everything in our lives.
I don't know about you, but I want God to permeate every fiber of my being. I want Him to to control my life in every facet. I want to surrender everything that I am, and everything that I hope to be over to His control.
Thank you Lord, for grace and mercy. Help me to surrender every area of my life to you. I pray that you would release your Holy Spirit in a fresh way into my life and the He would permeate every part of my life both public and private.
