Greater Works

John 14:12

¹² “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.

It amazes me how we as Christians limit the power and authority we have been given by non other than Jesus Himself. Just before He left this earth to take reign at the right hand of God he told his disciples and us as followers of him that we would do the same things he done and greater.

You know it really is not a hard concept to understand that He was leaving us power and authority to heal the sick, raise the dead, cause the blind to see, so on and so forth. I don't believe it is because of our lack of power but rather our lack of faith that we are not seeing more of these things take place in his church.

When Christ ascended into Heaven he later sent a comforter in the form of the Holy Spirit to reign inside of us. This is the same Spirit that enabled Christ to do the marvelous things in the lives of people he came in contact with here on earth. Wake up saints we've got the power.

If we abide in Christ, He abides in us and we have authority over the enemy to do great and mighty things in the kingdom of God. All I know is time is running out and it is time to tap into that authority Christ has given us and reach this world for the cause of Christ while we still have time.
