God Knows

Hebrews 4:12 - 13

¹² For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. ¹³ Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable.

The is nothing more powerful in the world today than God's word and His Spirit at work in our lives. In my experience reading the Word of God, this is prime time for God to speak to me when I allow my heart, mind and soul to be open to Him and what He has to say to me at that particular time.

I believe God speaks to us through His Word much the same way He addresses several of the churches in the book of Revelation. I believe there are times when God says; "Good job, keep up the good work." However, I also believe there are other times that God says; "You need some work in this area."

Verse 13 here in Hebrews 4 is exactly that. Nothing, absolutely nothing is hidden from God. Everything is exposed before Him. I like every other person on earth have messed up. I have made mistakes in life. I have done things I am not proud of. But thanks be to God, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and shortcomings when we confess them to Him

It does us no good to try to hide things in life because ultimately, GOD KNOWS!!! I'm not sure about you but i don't want anything in my life to be hidden from God. I want to be transparent before Him, so that I can hear His voice and can grow in Him.

My prayer is that I would live a spotless and blameless life before God. I pray that I wouldn't try to hide stuff from God, but would instead offer my mess up's to Him for His forgiveness. I thank God for His Word being powerful enough to pierce our spirits and lead us into righteousness.
